March 2024:
The mildest March since 2017 in my record with precipitation slightly below average. Southerly winds were frequent. Overall, a dull month with no prolonged periods of ‘settled’ weather, with low pressure often close by. The apparent ‘high’ mean temperature for the month (9.1ºC) was tempered by the lack of sunshine.
April 2024:
A mild, dull wet month, dominated by low pressure throughout. On the 9th a wind gust of 56mph was recorded during passage of low pressure north eastwards into the North Sea.
