Another very dry, warm and sunny month with variable temperatures according to the wind direction, which were dominated by high pressure and its position. e.g. 1st – warmest day of the month (28.3ºC) with wind off the land (SW). 4th – coolest day of the month (maximum 12.4ºC) with wind off a cold North Sea (NE). 9th-13th – early afternoon humidity below 40%
June 2025:
A dry, sunny and exceptionally warm month. The warmest June in my record (2009) with a mean temp. of 19.1ºC, +3.6ºC above the average and +1.2ºC warmer than the previous June record of 17.9ºC in June 2023. This record was helped by some very warm nights after the first week of the month. Oppressive and muggy in a moist WSW airstream towards the end of the month
