Sadly, we had to cancel the recent Italian Evening on 28th June due to lack of numbers, despite advertising and leafleting households in the village.

The small group of us in Hepworth2Enjoy has been trying to organise events for our village to help bring us together in a range of social occasions. For example: Quiz evenings, The Sausage Supper, The French evening, The Pudding Club, An Italian evening

Unfortunately, this is not the first event we have had to cancel. Often, we are making up numbers from our own families and friends and those from other villages.

These events are planned for our village and intended to raise money in order to:

• support the village Pavilion – each event scheduled there pays a hiring fee
• help to subsidise a Christmas lunch
• provide a social evening where villagers can meet and enjoy a range of things together

We need to enlist at least 40 people in order to make an event viable. In a village the size of Hepworth this should be achievable. We appreciate not every event will draw support all of the time.

To help us move forward and plan future events we have included here a short questionnaire. We would very much appreciate your feedback.
