It was lovely to see just over 40 people at the sausage supper. It really was worth while holding the event.
It all started with a tasting session of four various sausages for people try. They got to vote on which one they preferred.
Then the meal of sausages, colcannon and onion gravy was supplied to the hungry attendees. This was followed by the most delicious ice cream of all various flavours from Criterion.
It was a very happy evening, with villagers getting to know and meet each other – surely what any successful village evening is all about!
