- Forms of nomination may be obtained from the Returning Officer who will, on request, prepare a nomination paper for signature. Forms of nomination are also available at www.westsuffolk.gov.uk/elections
- Nomination papers must be delivered to the Returning Officer, West Suffolk House, Western Way, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, IP33 3YU during office hours on any working day after the date of this notice but no later than 4pm on Tuesday 4 April 2023.
- Please book an appointment to deliver a nomination paper by emailing elections@westsuffolk.gov.uk with details of the date and time that you would like to attend.
- If any election is contested, the poll will take place on Thursday 4 May 2023.
- Applications to register to vote must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 12 midnight on Monday 17 April 2023. Applications can be made online: www.gov.uk/register-to-vote
- Applications, amendments or cancellations of postal votes and amendments or cancellations of proxy votes must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at West Suffolk House, Western Way, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, IP33 3YU by 5pm on Tuesday 18 April 2023.
- New applications to vote by proxy at this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at West Suffolk House, Western Way, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, IP33 3YU by 5pm on Tuesday 25 April 2023.
- Applications to vote by emergency proxy at this election on grounds of physical incapacity or for work/service reasons must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at West Suffolk House, Western Way, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, IP33 3YU by 5pm on Thursday 4 May 2023. To apply, the person must have become aware that they cannot go to the polling station in person after 5pm on Tuesday 25 April 2023.
- Applications for a Voter Authority Certificate or an Anonymous Elector’s Document valid for this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 5pm on Tuesday 25 April 2023.
