Unsettled start to the month. Fine, dry and settled mid-month. Unsettled and wet towards the end of the month. Overall, rather warm with rainfall slightly below average
October 2024:
A very wet ‘day’ (23.5 mm) which amounted to 46% of the month’s total rainfall. Most of this falling overnight 30/9 – 1/10. Apart from the 1st, it was a relatively dry, mild, cloudy, benign month. High pressure dominant during the second half of the month
