With both sets of doors in the village hall wide open, and everyone well wrapped in their warm clothes and masks, the small gathering of Hepworth folk went ahead. In the prettily decorated hall, with its lovely Christmas Tree, there were mince pies a plenty, warm drinks and Christmassy songs.

It was a brave effort from members of various village groups, coming together to celebrate as best they could. With thanks to all who lent a hand, and to all those who felt they could make it in these strange times.
